  • Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
  • Surgical Services:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.
  • Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.
  • Radiology Services:  Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders.  Our radiographic images can be converted and transferred digitally for consultation with board-certified veterinary radiologists.
  • Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
  • Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
  • Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, supplments, skin care products, and parasite-preventatitives to meet the needs of your pet.  We also provide the convenience and cost savings of ordering these products and more through our internet pharmacy.
  • Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, peridontal repair, oral surgery, and at-home preventive care. 
  • Individualized Health Maintenance Programs:  "Ounce of Prevention" never had more meaning than the customized program we will develop for your pet which will maximize health, well-being, and comfort during all stage's of your pet's life.  This will include fewer vaccinations (see our position on its role in pet health care) as your pet ages and an emphasis on communication, medical exams, and screening tests.
  • Individualized Parasite Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to prevent heartworms as well as controlling a host of other common internal and external parasites in your house, in your yard and in or on your pet.
  • Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
  • Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the proper puppy and kitten socialization and training, and correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling.
  • Lodging/Boarding:  We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday.  Special arrangements can be made for pickups after hours and on Sundays.
  • Bathing:  Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available; grooming can be provided upon request.
  • Exotic Animals and Wildlife:  Our hospitals provide varying levels of care for birds, reptiles, and small mammals and injured or orphaned wildlife; please call the hospital of your choice and let us know your needs and we will tell you how we can help.  Note:  for those reading these words it is important to point out that any sick or injured mammal, even if young, is technically a possible carrier of rabies virus also deadly to humans.  Despite our most compassionate reflexes, one must be cautious about coming into contact with such animals, and generally, it is advised that they not be handled.
