Dr. Kim Langholz
Dr. Bishop was born into an Air Force family and did quite a bit of moving in her early childhood, however her dad retired in Waco, Texas when she was in 5th grade and she spent the majority of her childhood there. She has always wanted to be a veterinarian (excepting a brief flirtation with career aspirations of “dolphin trainer” after a visit to Sea World when she was 8 years old.)
Dr. Bishop is a proud graduate of Rice University, where she obtained a BS in Bioengineering and a BA in English in 2008. She went on from Rice to Texas A&M University for veterinary school, graduating in 2012. Dr. Bishop and her husband moved to Charlotte for her husband’s career as a TV news producer and have fallen in love with the area. She started her career as a small animal general practitioner in a corporate practice and was thrilled to join TotalBond in June 2015.
Away from the hospital, Dr. Bishop likes to explore area parks with her 2 year old, read science fiction, fantasy and non-fiction books and play tabletop games. Her family is owned by 2 miniature dachshunds and 2 long haired cats.
