Peggy is in charge of our On-line Pharmacy store, which is based out of the Bethel hospital. She also helps out in the reception department from time to time. She has worked in the veterinary field most of her adult life. While initially working for different practices in Oklahoma and then Ohio, we are proud to have called Peggy a part of the TotalBond family for more than 19 years now. She and her husband, Bill, live on a small farm in Gastonia, where they are surrounded by an assortment of horses, mini-horses, mini-donkeys, miniature cattle, alpacas, dogs, cats and chickens. The newest addition to their family is a Water Buffalo named Jethro. They enjoy camping and trail riding with their horses in the mountains.

Sam has been a long-time member of our staff and currently fills the role as one of our Veterinary Nurses. She has been with us in one capacity or another since 2004. She was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania but has lived in the Fort Mill area for the past 12 years. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Winthrop University in 2010. Her areas of interest include critical care, surgery, as well as anesthetic surveillance. Sam has 3 dogs: "Skeeter" a 5 year old Doberman/Shepherd, "Daphney" a 4 year old corgi mix, and "Mila" a 6 month old Great Dane. She also has a cat "Monroe" and 2 horses: "Jesse" a 15 year old Quarter Horse, and "Bear" a 13 year old thoroughbred.

Patti is a member of our caring veterinary nurse team. Her initial role at our hospital was in the animal care provider department and she is quite talented at grooming. She was born and raised in Yuma, Arizona and moved to Clover, South Carolina when she was 17 years old. Patti graduated from Clover High School in 2005 and began her career with TotalBond in July of 2007. She is happily married and has 2 children, Barry and Tatum. Patti has a boxer-mix named, Little Girl. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and doing outdoor activities with her kids.

Karen is one of our Veterinary Nurses. She grew up in Florida and moved to Clover, SC in 1996. She started her career here at TotalBond in 1997 as an Animal Care Provider and then worked for many years as one of our receptionists. Always seeking new adventures, Karen made the transition to our technical team in 2011. She has three wonderful children and numerous pets including a German Shepherd mix named "Brighten" and a hairless Sphinx cat named "Leo" (who is also affectionately called "Butters" due to his resemblance of a Butterball Turkey!). Karen is an avid hiker, kayaker, and she also enjoys camping.

Rhonda has been a devoted member of the Totalbond Bethel team since 2000. After working for many years with the Veterinary Nursing team, Rhonda made the move to our reception department. She still lends an occasional talented hand to the technical team when needed. Rhonda married her high school sweetheart, Chris, in Aug. 2002. Their son, Paxton, was born in 2008. Rhonda has 2 Boxers (Georgia and Jersey), a Great Dane (Detroit), and a cat (Bobby). She enjoys working on cars, riding her motorcycle, spending time with family at beach, and is definitely a "DIY" person around her home.

Yvette has been with Totalbond since 2004. She initially started as a member of our executive business office team, but in 2009 transitioned into Bethel's reception team so that she could interact more closely with clients and their pets. Yvette was born and raised in Gastonia, NC, where she is still proud to call home. She and her husband of 20 years, Tim, have one daughter and 3 wonderful grandkids (Caden, Greysen & Addison). Yvette has 3 dogs: Casey (the little land shark), Miley, and Emma. She also has two cats: Astro & Mia. When not at work, Yvette enjoys hiking with her husband and Emma, going on road trips, and being with her grandchildren.

Ashley is one of our Veterinary Nurses and has been with us since 2007. Her hometown is Clover, SC which she has called home her entire life. Her areas of interest include surgery, critical care, as well as the human/animal bond. Her pets include a 6 year old handsome Pit Bull named Spartan, a boxer/pit mix named Thor, a rescue cat from the clinic named Civic, and a rabbit named Thumper. When not caring for pets, she spends most of her free time with her little boy, Mason.

Theresa has been a receptionist at Totalbond since 2008, although she has worked in the veterinary industry for much of her adult life. Originally a native of Ohio, she now resides in Clover. Theresa is truly an animal lover at heart. She loves working with our clients and caring for their pets. She has four dogs of her own: Baby, Highway, Pepper, and Otis. Theresa is married, has 3 children, and 6 wonderful grandchildren that she loves to spoil in her spare time. Theresa devotes what is left of her free time to pet sitting.

Karen has a degree in Medical Administration and her love of animals brought her into the veterinary field. Karen and her husband are from south Florida and moved to Charlotte in 2002 when she started working at our Paw Creek location. Karen has been the receptionist at Davidson since 2006. All of her pets are rescues - 3 dogs and a cat named Frankie (blue eyes), and that is enough for now.

Shelly was born and raised in southwest Wisconsin. She started working at TotalBond at in October of 1999 first as a receptionist and now a veterinary assistant. Shelly is currently studying to become a registered Veterinary Technician. She is married to her husband Jack. They have a son, Jackson as well as Jack's three older children, Brian, Matthew and Toni. In her spare time, Shelly and Jack raise and breed Giant Schnauzers and German Shepherds. |

Cindy grew up on a farm near Georgetown, SC and attended Furman University. After 28 years, she took an early retirement from the banking industry and decided to try a new opportunity working with animals rather than numbers. It was the best career move she ever made! Cindy currently live in Huntersville, NC. She has always been around animals and has had many cats and dogs in her
lifetime. Cindy currently has two cats, Orange and Lump. |

Allie is one of our Veterinary Nurses. She was born in Bessemer City, N.C. and currently resides just over the border in S.C. She started with us in May of 1997 and has been with TotalBond Veterinary Hospitals for almost 15 yrs! Her interests include critical care and supporting our clients during care of their pets. Allie is currently studying to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Her pet's include her dog Lucky, a Blue Heeler. She is happily married with 2 children.

Beth was raised in Gaston county and married her high school sweetheart. She graduated in May 2011 from the Veterinary Medical Technology program at Gaston College and will become a Licensed veterinary Technician in 2012. Beth has been with TBVH since 2011. Her areas of interest include exotics, oncology, pain management & nutrition. Beth has numerous pets including her dogs Seth (a German Shephard) and Moxie (a Blue Heeler), as well as cats, lizards, turtles and a guinea pig. |

Heather is one of our Veterinary Nurses. She grew up in Maryland and started her career in veterinary medicine in 1988. After 8 years, she moved to Gastonia, NC to work for TotalBond Veterinary Hospitals. Her intersests include emergency medicine and critical care, exotic pets such as birds, reptiles, and little critters, client education, senior pet care, and grooming! Her pets include 3 cats (Mushmellow, Kaptain Knuckles, and Toni), a "lop-sided" lop-eared rabbit, and a gorgeous Doberman named Glitter. |

Jessica is one of our Receptionists and Animal Caregivers. She
is orginally from Maryland and currently resides in Kings Mountain
with her husband, son, and handi-capable kitty Peggy. She is expecting
her newest addition to her family in July 2012. Jessica has been with TotalBond Veterinary Hospitals since October 2010. She enjoys assisting our clients in anyway possible as well as enriching the stay of our boarding pets by giving them lots of play time and TLC. |

Malena is one of our client services representatives (receptionist, among other things). Her hometown Gastonia and she has lived here all her life. Malena has been with TotalBond Veterinary Hospitals for 9 years. Malena enjoys seeing the difference we make in the lives of our patients and the relationships she has been able to form with their owners. She also likes being the voice they hear when they call our hospital. Outside of work, Malen enjoys spending time with her daughter Grace.

Megan is one of our Veterinary Nurses and has been with us since March 2000. She is a native of Dallas, in Gaston County. Her areas of interest include emergency & critical care, surgery and anesthesia. Megan is also studying to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Her pets include an 11 year old Daschung named Dixie and 5 cats (Chicken, Turtle, Festus, Wilbur & That Cat).

Stephanie is one of our Animal Caretakers. She started volunteering with us at the age of 12 and been employed here for about 5 years. Stephanie was born in Rhode Island and has lived in Gastonia for the past 10 years. She will be graduating from Winthrop University in May 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in English and plans to pursue a degree in Veterinary Medical Technology in the Fall of 2012. Her pets include 3 cats (Chalupa, Tuna, Burgermeister), 2 dogs (Chicken, Circe), 2 pygmy goats (Wilson, Kris), and 2 horses (Lena - a Quarter Horse, Spirit - an Appaloosa)
